Well, he was offered a deal by the club, he decided to look at what other clubs were willing to offer and made a decision to move on for a longer deal than we were willing to offer. It's a short career and he has to do what he thinks is right for him. Gone are the days though, where I worry about players like Jodie moving on because we might not be able to afford anyone equivalent or better and I never thought I'd ever be saying that!!



I told his dad that I wish him well wherever he goes as long as he has a mare when he plays against us in the future.

Also I'm going to defend Danny Williams who I think is a quality player who I've always defended. In my opinion is much stronger and tactical aware but slightly slower version of Jodie. My opinion for the past 2 years has always been Willaims <Jodie.

Jodie has looked all over the place and lacking in focus since rumours of his departure emerged; Williams has looked like that all season.



Jodie still has many flaws to his game but is at least redeemed by blinding pace; Williams just has many flaws to his game.
