Fages is a halfback, and he will I'm sure play many times for us in the future as a halfback or as I like to call the position, outside halfback (better than stand-off).

If Harris thinks that dropping/ leaving out Theo Fages is the way to endear himself to the majority of Salford fans,then he had better take a deep breath.

Theo has been a top performer over the last year,he has the heart of a lion,and has been loyal to the cause.

Theo deserves better and the new coach should have this pointed out to him.

To be honest, MR, I'm just thankful of every two points this season. Avoiding the drop is the biggest thing for us. Progress up the table is second, and play-offs is third.

On a completely different issue, asso. football should abolish the off-side rule, it's so negative and spiteful, and increase the length of the pitch to 112m, and have lines in metres not yards, like 10m centre circle, 15m penalty box 7m wide goal, 2.5m high goal and 10m penalty spot, but the 'keeper can move anywhere inside his 5m goal kick box at any time. I might watch it then.

Harris can play Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse for me as long as we win.

On a positive note Logan Tomkins had a blinder.
