Yes.I know.On Friday I wrote this on the Tuson thread,from the print version version of the MEN.

However,as nothing this year will surprise me,and with the expected coaching merry-go-round to start in Australia, anything is possible.

My thoughts were that it is best not to speculate until at least a snippet is picked up from somewhere reliable.

What I don't understand about the Sowards rumours is were he would play, in the halves or hooker possibly?.



We have Smith and Chase as starting halves, Theo & Sneyd as very good quality back up and then Evlads and other academy players behind them so I fail to see where he would fit in.



It's a good position to be in but not one I actually see materialising if I'm honest.

Cannot see Soward happening.He is signed for 4 years and their coach has just signed an extension until 2016.

No need for Soward whatsoever. Sneyd has been confirmed as a Cas player on loan for next season however. We only need 1 back up half IMO & if we are unlucky enough to lose 2 halves then we need to be looking from within to replace them.

Can only be a good thing for Sneyd to go on loan as he would have been a bit part player next season behind Chase and Smith. You'd hope that Theo gets a chance and that if there is a need for anyone else to play in the halves that someone like a Evalds gets his chance.

Hooker & ,Utility/ Loose Forward , possibly a Prop.

Can't be quota or non fed trained.

Based on who we have left over from this years squad & who we've signed so far.

Must better than the cover we already have in those positions.
