There's no coverage of this anywhere else.

Has the council got the money in place?

Has the NWDA said it will put in the millions required?

Salford Advertiser today has a story rumouring the council is to buy the current stadium for £2.5m. How can it do this and afford £20m on top as well?

Look at the comments below the Salford Advertiser article. Not one in support.

Aren't the men that own Salford and Peel rich enough to fund this themselves?

That's an awful long way from having it in writing that the NWDA WILL provide the funding required.
