One thing that was noticable yesterday was the lack of communication when we conceded a try. Half of the players were standing and staring at the big screen to see who was to blame. It should be a time to get your heads together, get motivated and clear your head. I didn't see any leadership qualities on that pitch yesterday.

A serious lack of interest from most of the players. Morale is obviously low but it doesn't excuse not giving your all.

At 32 Stephen Wild's got to be worth another year at least I think on reduced contract terms. I'd offer him 50% take it or leave it. Wildy still has the workrate and creative skills to put players over the try line as he showed at the millenium. I think he's just playing at the back of a lightweight, lazy pack that has no runners or aggression.

I assume this is a wind up!

You will see the real Nobbys next year when he is coaching money as opposed to players, there are very few good man management coaches. About these days and its the guys working with a decent cheque book that shine. That said you should go well next year.

I like Sneyd but he's been coughing up tries in recent games so had to be stood down.



Saying that, did anyone see who missed tackles (by some distance!) for each of Wakey's three opening tries? Watch the highlights. It was terrible!

Gaskell. Quality footballer but big issues in defence

Gaskell is no more a full back than McGoldrick is a Stand Off, or Foran a hooker.

He's the only one out of that trio who has the potential to get better though.
