Furthermore, I understand that the most recent figures available show that the average attandance of the Guiness Premiership '08-'09 was 11786 whilst Super League '08 was 10338.

Slightly off the mark of how we can benefit from ground share with Sale, but if we could tap into the marketing schemes of Sale and Union as a whole then so be it. Once again, I presume its a clever promo drive on behalf of their marketing dept that gets the punters in. It certainly aint for the entertainment value.

Call me a sceptic, but I'm not convinced Sale are doing any 'promos' we haven't already tried/rejected. Indeed, I suspect they could learn a thing or two - Salford are quite a pioneering club in that regard.

The logic is non-existent. Quality entertainment = Awful attendances.

You can tell that you were out of the country for a decent chunk of last season. I reckon that about half of our home games were absolutley shocking adverts for the sport.

Sale have a regional customer base so would up our status. However they play on a Friday night.
