A number of players playing Friday and RAIN. Could today be a banana skin?



My own personal opinion is it COULD be, just in the same way that Cats was BUT I don't think it will be. TS will have had a game plan to cover the players coming back from Friday.



Also, Salford's motivation could come into play. Do they come to the HJ to try and avoid another mauling and play defensively and slow the game down or will they go out all guns blazing with a "well nobody is expecting anything from us" attitude. If it the latter I think we will face a tough opening but defensively the number of shut-out we've had indicates we can virtually cope with anything they have, if it the former I think we will have enough fire-power to break Salford down on quite a few occasions as long as we don't rush it and start to try and play "open rugby" from the off.



My prediction.....Wolves by 12

does anyone know the 17 man squad yet? i still think we will win by 20+.

I think in previous years we may well have lost this game as we may have not approached it with the right attitude but under Lord Tony we should still win. Wire by 20

If we're sensible with ball in hand we should be okay. I hope we don't start winging it about and put ourselves under pressure.

Very good post. Will be difficult for both sides with the conditions. As some have said in previous years, Wire may have fell short in this game, but you will still have too much for Salford. I say Wire by about 20-30 points. Looking forward to the game!

Despite the Exiles game and the weather I think we should still be able to overcome Salford whatever they throw at us. My worry is more about how much this weekend will take out of us for next week.
