Looking at the Wigan forum, how they are grasping at the shrivelling straws trying to deny to themselves that Warrington are the best team this season. Warrington finished the top of the league after all the rounds of the super league the best method we have of measuring the years best team, not only did Warrington finish with the most points they also conceeded the least points and scored (by a large margin ) the most points. We are through to next round of a cup competition but whatever happens in the play-offs Warrington have won the hardest to win trophy of the season and are the best team in super league- FACT.

p.s fairplay to the Wigan fans et al that recognise Warrington's achievment.

Ok, Warrington have won the league, won more games, but lost more games than Wigan. Wigan have also had to play more games this season with the cup and WCC, but overall I think that we have been fairly evenly matched this season, as with last season. I would like to offer my congratulations to you and would hope that Warrington fans would do the same to Wigan.



I really do thingk that there are fare too many Wigan fans trying to play down Warringtons acheivements and fare too many Warrington fans doing the same vice/versa.



Why is there so much anymosity and petty points scoring, (our fans sing louder than yours etc.)

thanks for comment, a reasonable wigan poster on this board not something you see often. its the fact that if wigan win one thing its the greatest thing in the world anyone else does its gash, plus we are rivals and a league above nearly every other team in sl.

6 games between them Wigan and Saints haven't been able to turn into wins, shocking.

Unlike you guys, until the past couple of seasons the trophies have been thin on the ground, so we are probably entitled to sing it finishing 1st

The 'Official' best team will be decided at Old Trafford in a few weeks.



Nobody will remember the league leaders in years to come which may be sad but true. Everyone will be able to name the 2011 Grand Final winners though.

Maybe with it being the first in a while but take us for example we finished first a couple of times around the late 90's early 00's but I honestly couldn't tell you what years. On the other hand if you wanted to know what years we won and lost in finals I could reel them straight off without thinking.
