Have just seen the facebook thread by our club and its new sponsors for the south stand and im shocked by it. We are effectively promoting nicotine products to kids here especially with the branded versions which will be available.

All those years with greenalls as a sponsor must have really upped the "children drinking bitter" rate too heh? Let's not be daft.

The sponsorship of alcohol isn't a good one but that is not a justification to promote further social drug practices.



Nicotine is another drug I don't wish my kids to have an addiction too.

Nicotine isn't harmful. It's the tar and carbon monoxide that makes smoking dangerous. E-cigs offer no fumes and no smell. The only reason people moan is because it looks unsightly. But the fact of the matter is... There's nothing wrong with it. If your worried your kids will move from E-cigs to drugs (that does tend to be the main concern in other debates), rather than question the E-cig company and their sponsorship, I question your abilities as a parent to teach your children.



We have a challenge cup competition sponsored by Ladbrokes. I'd say Gambling is far more dangerous than an E-cig. People need to get a grip.

It seems you'll be very happy to have your children or perhaps future children with a nicotine and gambling addiction on the face of your last post.

It's nothing about the chemical ins and outs.

I have no issue whatsoever if somebody wants to e smoke by me.

Please explain where in my post I said that? I simply said it was not dangerous and then implyed Hippocracey that people kick off about E-cigs yet they won't about a bookmaker sponsorship. Which is far, far, far more destructive. I also said if you educated your children and brought them up in a way where they can make their own decisions in life without being influenced by others then you should have nothing to worry about.

I'm saying there is nothing harmful with an E-cig. That doesn't mean I'd encourage someone to use it. Nor am inclined to moan about something that no effect on my person.

I was at that game against catalans also, I admit I also found it shocking however I quickly thought about it and realised that there wasn't really an issue to be had.
