I took my kids last night on one of the club coaches. After a thoroughly enjoyable night we boarded the coach to come back to Warrington. Before the coach even moved off we were told to keep our heads away from the windows as the coaches were being bricked by Cas fans and that the security were directing us a different way in order to avoid these "fans". I really thought this was a thing of the past and it has put me off taking the kids to Cas again even though most of the night was great. I don't think it helps when Cas fans over on their board tell you you are talking bull because you are the only one to mention it.

Unfortunately it seems almost a given it will happen at Cas! Happened to us in 2007 yet still happening in 2011? That's appalling and also they put Leeds team bus window through too. Simple question is why? Only does club damage in image and now in your case directly probably now lost at least 3 paying away fans for next season.

Yep, happens every home game at Castleford. Whose players coach did they throw a brick at a few weeks ago? Leeds maybe. What do you expect when the place is basically a slum anyway?

i was on a mini bus and security were giving alternative directions to all buses on a photocopied map! and telling us to turn right out of the ground rather than going down wheldon road! he (the security man) took a good ten minutes explaining things the said "have you got that"? to which i said "so why can't we go do wheldon road?" he shook his head and walked off...



made me laugh anyway!

So let me get this straight, it didn't happen but people were told just in case?

that's the rub of it yes, coaches were directed in an alternative direction to prevent any chance of it happening. we got to see some lovely housing estates on our detour

So why people moaning (i know you're not slim)?

not sure what all the fuss is about, i enjoy my trips to cas, always a laugh. good beer, my son likes the toffee stall and you can change ends (will this be the last time we will ever be able to do this with new stadium next season for most teams???)
