The Guardian said that Hughes was being rested.



I am going to guess that Akuola, Davis and Walker will all play. SP could easily replace Lama Tasi with Akuuola without risking his arm but not sure who else would make way.

What's up with Tasi's arm?

He's not got enough aggression taking the ball up and SP thinks he's too soft and armless apparently.

Hopefully Westwood, Goodwin & Mamo will then be able to come back and boost the squad at Easter.

I think I would be a little more conservative;



Drop Tasi, include Clark, and if the match goes our way bring Walker on from the bench for the remainder of the game.

Then perhaps give Cooper a rest this week (because Hill would probably tear Price's arm off if he tried to rest him).

With Jack Hughes not in the squad, Hill will most probably play otherwise we are without a regular skipper. It'll be interesting to see who takes the role if/when Hilly is off the field. Ratchford?



(Or.... with it not being a TV game, maybe we won't need somebody to have the mysterious VR decisions 'explained' to them.... ?)

I cant believe what i'm reading tbh, have I missed something? are we playing Dewsbury or Barrow or something? We have a Super League fixture on Friday don't we? that should be treated with total respect. Okay we now know Hughes will be rested so after that now we go as strong as possible and treat the opposition as we would a Wigan, Saints or Leeds. I don't think you've read everything properly, Hughes is being rested and the only other person (apart from 1 single comment about resting Hill) really being talked about being changed is Tasi. So a bit of an overraction.
