I agree with his comments in the League Express, for those who haven't read it.



"What worries me is that Mr Lowes appears to be targeted as being the only reason for the Wolves demise which is harsh and unfair. He is new to the hotbed of top level coaching so it was always going to take sometime for him to develop".

"Let's not forget when you appoint an inexperienced coach your taking a gamble however when you select top class international players you expect them to produce the goods".

"Matt King has not produced anything like what made him a kangaroo jumper and where is the magic from Briers and Monaghan, i don't hear cry's for them to be dropped or sacked, maybe they should be".

Can't argue with that and, as infuriated as I am with Lowes, know that he's not entirely to blame. The club should never have appointed such an inexperienced coach and then expected him to pull silverwear out of his back side. We are not a club who should have an 'L' plated coach at the wheel. Lowes should have been allowed to remain as assisstant or go and cut his teeth as head coach of an NL1 club before being allowed an SL head coach contract. But we all know this, Stevo isn't commenting on anything that we've not already discussed to death on here.

There is a lot of anger and disappointment from our fans being vented in all directions. Lowes will always get the most blame as that's the way it is with manager's, and when he makes controversial decisions, and persistently contradicts himself, then he is only adding salt into our wounds.

His abilities as a coach can be questioned but the thing which gets my goat is his total unprofessionalism and sloppy attitudes. Is it any wonder the team is unfocussed.

There is an element of can't be d about him.

Which seems to have rubbed off on a few of the players.

Not according to the view of Stevo. He thinks Lowes body langauge "said" he's ready for a fight and won't be throwing the towel in.



Stevo also said that the sacking of Lowes shouldn't even be considered. How anybody can agree with those views is laughable.

i think he is spot on. getting rid of lowes wont help us. the players are the issue.

they should know how to defend and tackle. everyone called for cullen to go and thats made no difference has it.



i really dont know what the issue is with us but i honestly dont think getting rid of lowess is the answer.



i do think that we need to stop booing as i think this has a very negative effect on the team. we should just be silent if they are playing badly.

I hadn't really commented on Lowes until I saw those two press conferences/ interviews last week. I have seen all I need to see now to know that he isn't up to it.



I don't blame him for taking the job though. I blame the people who offered it to him. And most of all the players who have failed to support him.

Yes, IMO it has made it worse, showing that a coach is an important part of the team.

Can't hear the cries for Briers + Monaghan he says!He's not a regular user of this forum then.
