I was a bit hesitant at getting ESPN with their being no deffinate plans to show the NRL next year, i thought i would go for it yesterday seeing as they are showing the NRL semi finals and Grand Final plus United were playing Spurs.



Its far better value than Setanta, if your already a sky sports subscriber its just £9 a month with no fixed contract and you can cancel at anytime you like after 30 days, the added bonus is the £9 includes any room unlike Setanta used to be where they charged you per viewing card so if you have multi room its great value.



The football coverage yesterday was first class, they had Ray Stubbs, Kevin Keegan and Guus Hiddink in the studio with Jon Champion commentating and Chris Waddle as his co commentator. The HD broadcast was first class, with all the vintage challenge cup finals you get and all other vintage sport its well worth the £9 if you don`t already have it.

THey've got quite a few European leagues on show which is nice to see.







Hope so, now that ESPN America has it's own channel.

The Wendyball coverage is essentially BBC coverage, but it's great to be getting the AFL and MLB regularly on the telebox.
