| We're not top of the Valvoline academy for nothing, there's a lot of quality in our youth sides. Jordan Burke, Evans x2, Gareth O'Brien, Liam Hulme, Alex Thompson, Craig Harvey, Jack Cooper. Richard Marshall is guiding these lads really well and produce some really good stuff. |

All players issued with a squad number at the beginning of the season are full time and train together. |

I would've thought he'd be a candidate for duel registration, or possibly a proper loan move somewhere else,
just as a slight sidetrack to this, on the duel registration, i know there's been mixed feelings on this from some of the championship coaches, some making use of it to the full(leigh), some staying away from it altogether(halifax) and some using it but getting fed up of not having duel registered player (haven).
From a selfish POV, is it being beneficial to us. I only ask, as in the odd occasions that they've played Mitch hasn't been as good as he was last year, tyke's not played an awful lot but from what i can recall he was pretty noticable last season when he got his chance, i can't remember having seen much from him on his (2?) first team appearances. And obviously blythe hasn't been in the team.
i'm not expecting players to have developed into superstars whilst playing in the championship, I can see the worth to them but if they're coming back and not playing as good as they were before.

Indeed but I think a noticeable reason for this upsurge in our young talent is John Bastin. Look at his legacy at Leeds and we can be very hopeful that his legacy, along with that of Squadbuilder & the trust, is as successful as it is at Headingley.
And how nice for them to be coached by a coach with a level of credentials other than just being an ex-player. |
