We can't complain with the entertaining rugby we have seen this year & at least we did manage to fill our stadium ,unlike our close neighbours!

Wire have been the best team all year but there is a lack of winning mentality from both fans and coach. For me Smith seemed happy at the cup defeat so you could focus on this and yes you have been punished by the pathetic play off system, but there are no positives from tonight! End of the day wire bottled the two most important games this year! Hard Lines but you should expect better

''Knocking on the door''????? Wire were dead certs, if you were to believe all the hype they should have walked into the grand final wearing a dinner jacket. Personally I didn't believe all the hype. I backed Leeds last Wednesday to win in an arm wrestle game. The only way Wire were going to win tonight was by blowing Leeds away in the first half unless the occasion got to them, and it was clear to see that it did get to them. Wire bottled it tonight, I don't care what anyone says.



Ganson had nothing to do with the result.



As much as I hate Leeds and as much as I hate saying this, I have to take my hat off to them tonight. They toughed it out against a much better Rugby playing side and got the result they deserved. I still hope they get hit for 50 in the final though!

Can the trolls be banned like you promised Yed?

Lack of winning mentality? Won three trophies in three years. Smith has won three Grand finals, two challenge cups and 2 league leaders shields? Don't talk bollox. We got beat in a one off game. Wigan at home was an important game and we embarassed you twice in the league. Nothing to do with bottling it, we got beat by a better team on the night. Badly disguised troll attempt.

Arrogance? At what point was we arrogant? Tony smith didn't go as he does not agree with the club call system, how is that arrogance?



Most people who have bought grand final tickets are going anyway, i think I have seen one person on here who shown them self up about being in the 'barmy army' end but other than that people were going anyway.

The problem I see here is when we chose to 'bottle it'.



Wigan bottled it last year, but did it at the time when they still had the chance to redeem themselves, we chose to bottle it at the point of no return.



I think last night will hurt for a long time, I think it'll hurt us the fans but not half as much as it will people in that dressing room. They're the ones who've made the sacrifices, put their bodies on the line all that stuff and it's not got them the rewards that they sought. There's plenty of players in that dressing room who might not get another attempt at a GF appearance and it'll stick in the throat for some time.



We've learnt a tough lesson last night, a cruel lesson. Very difficult to swallow, but mustn't take credit away from Leeds, they managed to get us away from our gameplan, and made us produce a very un-Warrington (recent times) performance, both stucturally (is that a word) and emotionally.



I just hope when the dust settles, we can come again next year.

Great performance by the Wire tonight in a truely fantastic game.....

It was a great game that could have gone either way. Very entertaining, and if you'd made a few more correct decisions with ball in hand, like briers taking the DG rather than going for a try near the end, you may have won.



Unfortunately some of you clearly aren't taking it too well, talk of banning anyone who disagrees with you and the pure abuse being thrown at Wigan fans in general is pretty small time (no doubt you'll take this as trolling even though I'm just stating the obvious and praising a good game)

Honest question.
