| David Solomona at his best is one of them rare players where if he was starting from the bench the crowd noise would noticeably rise in anticipation of him coming onto the pitch, when fully fit he is the type of player that changes games. He is the type of player that would raise the spirits of his team mates as well at the sight of him warming up.
I can`t remember the last player we had starting from the bench that would raise the noise levels of the crowd in anticiaption that he was about to come on, Solomona would have that effect.

Although different positions, he is going to be like Big daddy for Hudds where the away fans know things will happen when he gets onto the field. Looking forward to seeing him at the HJ.

| Anyone know if he counts on the quota? Or is he just classed an overseas trained player?

You'll think that, but it seems in the last couple of seasons, for every stroke of magic there is also a bad mistake. He looks for the offload too much, but perhaps Smith will coach that out of him.
I agree though, good signing if he can keep up to it.

| Given his recent injuries, it would be interesting to know if they've signed him on a pay as you play contract, so if he does his shoulder in again then we don't pay him.
Either way I reckon the size of his contract will have taken the injury into account.
PC seemed to me to have a policy of not signing players that were injury prone and getting rid of them if they did - Wilshire/Cardiss spring to mind, but then seemed to go away from that.
I think you've got to take each case as it comes along on it's own merits. Arguably with PJ and Rau going we've got less injury prone players.
Funny though how some clubs (eh Hull) always seem to have major issues at the start of the season - could be to do with their training techniques.

| Quote Dawson="Dawson"Will be very interesting to see how he settles in. He will replace the offloads of Rau and hopefully show a lot more sense'"
But surely we'll miss the heart stopping excitement/pain of the will he/won't he get the ball away.

| If you look at teams in the top 8 all have impact players who come off the bench and trun games around.
Saints: Roby
Wigan: Feka
Hudds: Eorl
All players who can change a game and Solomona did it for Bradford and now he will be important to us. Its a very decent signing given he will have another 2-3 months off and then back to work with Warrington.
