Would hardly call Longford one of the most deprived areas of the country.



Anything to sell a television programme.

Who cares if it puts the town down, we're getting on the tele. We know what the town is like, who cares what others think.

I have family that live in London. When they come to visit us they are amazed at the amount of green space we have. Longford is nowhere near as deprived as some places in London, so if he was brought up in the slums of the city Longford would look lovely in comparison. Everywhere has a drug problem just some areas hide it better. If he was really shocked at how poor the area looked they must have concentrated on about 2 streets!

Agreed, I mean take a look at the area round Wembley, it was like Beirut!

only the Neasden side, Wembley is fairly upmarket compared to places like Harlesden, Hackney and Tottenham

My sister works for a homeless charity in Warrington and the producers went there to see if was suitable for the programme but they didn't get picked.

According to some govermant stats sadly parts of Longford a deemed some of the most deprived parts of the country.

They actually made warrington sound worse than it is.

It amazing what the right camera shot can do to make an area look worse or better than it is.

that opening shot that you could just see the stadium supports in was a right choice, turn that camera round and you could see midland way, the new bus station and new car park.



Not exactly the sydney harbour bridge but broken windows and some of the fooking oldest looking buildings in the town centre.
