Its only worth competing in for the money......
the whole of Europe can only muster 6 decent sides for its premier competition,
Rubin Kazan, AZ Alkmaar, Unirea Urziceni, Apoel Nicosia, whats that all about.....
No wonder Emlyn Hughes said the greatest competition was the FA cup...... and he won everything........
I'm not bothered Liverpool are out...what gets up my nose is the champions league is on prime time telly tomorrow and there's no "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" on.... |

It's a great competition, so great that clubs like Fulham or Portsmouth when they were in it, field weakened teams to "concentrate on the league". Rafa won't be doing that because he doesn't have exalted ambitions like those two clubs. |
