west ham v millwall

it wasn't going to be tiddlywinks was it,aside from the protaganists the police should have had this covered weeks ago.

In fairness to the police, the draw was only made two weeks ago. It must take a lot of time and effort to organise such high level of security needed for a rivalry like this. Bringing in extra men from other forces would not have been easy in the time frame.

yeah but as soon as it kicked off they had no problem in bringing the extra men in did they

arrest the sodding lot of em and put em on the front line at Afghanistan and lets see what men they are,



another brave soldier lost his life today

In that case the extra forces should have been there from the beginning, so the police presence is felt by the fans right from the moment they get to the ground.

to be honest this is the sort of thing i expected when i heard west ham were playing millwall

Not shocked really, it was always going to happen, they hate each other like Celtic and Rangers or Liverpool and Everton but the difference is they have not pplayed each other for 8 years.



It was clearly organised violence which the police cannot stop. What happened inside the ground was nothing short of disgusting.



Credit to the players of both clubs especially one of the west ham players who went over a shook the fans hand and told him to get off the pitch, although the west ham player celebrating infront of the opposition fans did not help but was quite comical.



This needs to be clamped down on now so this behavious does not creep into our sport. I hope both clubs are fined and all the supporters involved are delt with.

You would have to say that Milwall are the problem, West Ham fans havent done this before and have played other fierce London Rivals for years.



Kick both clubs out of all competitions for 12 months, I bet it would never happen again.

Watching the scenes on the news tonight you would have to say the West Ham fans caused a lot of the trouble outside the ground and deffo inside the stadium. You dont hear much of the " ICF " these days but they were out in force tonight!

That is rather harsh.

CAnt wait to see how Burnley and Blackburn get on this year.
