So i assume Dufty isn't coming then if this shower of poop is true. I hope not as apart from 1 great game in every 10 he's overrated and a gobby douche bag. Also i thought Widdop was off to Castleford, if not it'll be Jake Truman and Widdop in their halves.

Connor is excellent, hard to play well every game us our side, particularly playing with the likes of Gale and Reynolds, would be quality in Saints or Wigans side.

I think I've got it worked out:



We sign as many highly rated but inconsistent players as possible, then play them only on the one in ten occasions they have a great game. Wiliams one week, Widdop the next, Connor, Dufty, and so on. In fact we just play a new team every week, as long as it's their 'good' week, and rotate the squad of 150 players.



Of course, we'll need to bring in that salary cap administrator from Wigan. Because 'mistakes' happen.

Not sure I get this. Sign up Dean and Thewlis, presumably as long term 6 and 1 then sign someone else who can play 6 and 1 after extending Ratch who also plays 6 and 1.

Can’t see it as Pearson would get ripped to shreds by their fans if he was sold and they do seem to lose a lot when he’s out but great player on his day.

He's a very talented player, he comes with a bit of baggage but he would still be a great signing IMO. He would definitely get some stupid bans and let the team down from time to time though.

Not always a good barometer though. I seriously dislike Sam Tomkins, without having met him, and Andrew Farrell, and Sean Long… yet they would all look like a man among boys in our squad. Difference is, those players above win. They are disliked because they find a way to win, consistently. Conner has found a way to get on Sky and generate a nice highlight reel and pub people up the wrong way. Not a lot of winning, or even a threat to drag a team by the scruff of the next to a win.

It's easy to see that we will sign Connor and pay £500k for the privilege. He is an unsavory character but he has a built in will to win, something the current bunch appear not to have. The 2023 plot thickens.
