My view.



Forwards were battered. Moz, Carvell, Monas, Westwood, Anderson & Harrison. That's our 1st choice pack yeah? They lost the battle in the middle and our backs were ineffective because of it. Briers would have made no difference and moaning about Myler, Clarke, Evans (even though his positioning was schoolboy at times, oh hang on....) or anybody else is pointless. Scott Grix charging down field with 3 of our forwards hanging off him summed the game up for me. Miles more enthusiasm hence the 2 points. I've just finished watching Hull KR beat Leeds. Had we been at CP today playing like we did last night, we'd have dropped another 2. Clubs like Huddersfield and Hull KR (No criticism intended) [ihave[/i to more determined than their opponents in order to win. That was 90% of the reason that we lost last night.

Good post.....I think I posted during the game (at the beginning of this thread) something similar, that we were being out-enthused.



We looked very lethargic and you have to wonder how much we have left behind at the DW stadium....From both ours and Wigan's last 2 games, it certainly looks like that particular big game has drained a hell of a lot from both sides.



Perhaps we are looking back at the days when we would return from one of our brave Knowsley Road defeats and then suffer some huge hangover lasting a month or so?.....Are we about to experience something similar after the high of the Wigan triumph?

Yeah maybe. I can't though remember Leeds and Saints suffering from the same issue in recent years. Maybe this is one of the skills needed to be at, and stay at the top.

if you read my posts re last night i have stated you were deserved winners, not an ounce of malice or sour grapes... go on have a read, shudersfield andthe hull sharkthunder need reminding every now and then where they came from! it amuses me that you bite every time

I was surprised how poorly Warrington played to be fair. I was expecting more of a test however another poster comments that had you been playing a 'top' team you'd have been tonked by 50 points plus I think amongst those quoted were Wigan (lost to Les Cats last night). Im not so sure - I thought we tackled amazingly well last night and sometimes the opposition play as well or as poorly as you allow them to play. Its dissapointing that some commentators concentrate on reasons for winning games is because one team playing so poorly. That said its early days and we'll see what happens come the end of the season.

Least we have a bit of bite, Something Morley, Carvell and Westwood seem to have lost!!!!! They were like a set of schoolgirls everytime they got tackled and

Aiiiiii we have but never mind, we had a good win Friday night, are currently top of the league on merit and haven't really hit top gear yet. We have some great young British talent in our ranks and since nearly going to the wall have grown massively as a club, I'll take that TBH

you just need to attract some extra supporters now to give visiting teams that big game feel , and see where it gets you when it matters later in the season
