you just need to attract some extra supporters now to give visiting teams that big game feel , and see where it gets you when it matters later in the season

Wigan have one of he largest home season ticket sales - they also have the poorest home form. Maybe that 'big game' atmosphere raises their opponents game or the pressure of the home support on the teams back gets to them?

I must admit that it is still a disapponting feature of Huddersfield's improvement, that they have failed to ignite much interest in their town, and with this I actually have massive sympathy for their loyal supporters, who deserve better.



Compare the atmosphere when the top 2 clashed at Wigan a fortnight ago, to last night's clash of the top2?....Last night's atmosphere resembled a pre season knockabout, whereas at the DW stadium it was something that is a fantastic advert for our domestic game.

maybe in the stand where most of the Wire fans were it was but the atmosphere in my stand was pretty damn good by our usual standards !

It must be a tad dreary then, most of the time?...

give me a full stadium with atmosphere any day of the week win or lose

You seem to be judging us on about two posters ( who are embarrassing most Huddersfield fans) who have being overcome by the elixir of winning a few games.



However if we ever win a trophy be ready for me to shout it from the rooftops. Until then most of us are keeping our feet firmly on the ground. You beat us 3 times last season but lost in the playoffs. Us winning yesterday was nice but in reality only wins in knock out competitions mean anything.
