| Why can't we celebrate the achievements of leaving players / coaches with a little more dignity ?? The guy came in at a tough time, he took over at a time when we were struggling - maybe he didn't manage to turn things around in the time he was given, but he was assistance to Tony Smith during our most successful period for decades - he must have been doing something right.
No-one knows why he has left - speculation that he has been offered a job closer to home - whether he was pushed or otherwise, but the folk in the know on RL Fans knew all along he was the wrong man for the Wire

Good post.....Just to add to it, I feel some guys are just better suited to being an assistant....Look at football as an example, with Peter Taylor, Carlos Querioz, Colin Harvey, etc.....Lowes is probably one of those, very effective behind the scenes, but just not cut out to be the main man. |
