| So, to anybody who went to the game, do we now have the answer with Bridge at stand off and Penny on the wing?

| Too much humble pie for one or two to chew on about Bridge at halfback on here today.
I got some poop off some on here for the mere suggestion!

| And after eating the humble pie I still expect some will still argue against with excuses.

| Bridge thrived today, despite the opposition being Doncaster. Every time he got the ball we expected something to happen, and it usually did. Penny made some fine tackles and took his tries well.
Bridge was prepared to take on the line. The only disappointment for me was O'Brien who didn't impose himself against lesser opposition. I'm beginning to change my mind about him.

| I wasn't at the game, but from what I heard on the radio England made some good meters and busts and was solid in defence; Dwyer seemed really lively from dummy half (I'd very much like to see him interchange with Higham against a SL team), and; Penny was decent in both attack and defence.

| Bridge was unplayable today but it was against part-time opponents. Impressed with England as well you can really hear the impact when he tackles.
Only 3000 at the game!

| Oh and I did expect more of Russell and O'Brien today... Dwyer is good with the ball but it pretty weak in defence which may explain his limited appearances in SL.

| Pretty certain it was Ben Evans who stopped their try. Bridge looked lively with space at half back, GOB very quiet, and neither has a kicking game. Russell looked impressive and so too England. Asotasi should have torn it up today, but did bugger all. Penny looked very good indeed, solid defence and is still blisteringly quick. All in all, everything I expected out of today's game.happy with the zero, appalled by the crowd of 3002.

Just remind us who we were playing today??...... The fact I'm hearing and reading things like Penny and England played well, tells us we should take Bridge playing well at stand off with a huge pinch of salt.
