gawd your full of sheeeitte! mathers did not fail at leeds, the only club he did badly at was wigan, fans slagged him off, demoralised him then let him join a challenge cup winning side where he scored the first try in the final.

I can imagine Rogues Galery looking like Karl Pilkington.
I can't remember who it was (might have been Cruncher) but I had an argument on the Wigan board about Pryce v King when King was still struggling. Pryce, at that point, hadn't played a game. I argued that, indifferent though his form was, King had to be a better signing because he had played Rugby League whereas Pryce hadn't. As they had signed Pryce to play Rugby League, presumably, it was the worst signing imaginable
It was all going fine until he (or another poster) suggested:-
- Karl Pryce has the potential to be a Wigan legend; and
- Brett Kenny was only at Wigan for a short time and so WASN'T a Wigan legend
Priceless. |

Us Hull fans like to see players gently strolling around a big field for 80 minutes. Its good for our aura
Exciting players make us all wee ourselves and pull down goalposts.
Our only exciting player is Calderwood and we have hidden him in a secret Afghan cave network so he can never sully our good name with tales of chasing down kicks and busting his gut to catch a player attempting a full length try
