Our lads threw everything into that game . . . . the week before the cup final  I was just glad that Hoppe, Iro, Long, Fairleigh etc made miraculous injury comebacks for that final - who'd have thunk it? Wellens at 7

Actually I bet a fair few of them were teenagers given it's 15 years ago or so we're talking about.
I remember that game vividly. Newlove was sent off for a high tackle and after that I don't think we made another tackle such was their fear of the referee making them miss the final. |
