No way we could afford him, he's on about 600k AUS which is about 300k GBP. Also i can't see him ever leaving the NRL, we can only wish i suppose. |

There must be cap space if we offered Hill (a very good apparently) one year deal which he declined. I've no idea on the timings of when contracts were signed but can't think in what direction that money has gone? |

I’m hopeful we’ve got someone lined up, be abit unfair to be using Longstaff as a middle battering ram next year which we’ve seen a couple times this year. Although he deserves a spot in the 17.
Hill, Sita and possible JClark leaving with only Harrison coming in so far as a middle. But he’s likely to miss most of next year due to injury… we are crying out for a top class prop.
Philbin, Cooper, Mulhern, Butler, Doro, Harrison (inj) - long term injury to either Cooper or Philbin and we are chalked.

We should ask the saints fans, not about how much cap space we have left (don't want to rub their noses in it) about how much wages have been freed up with who has left and what has been reallocated so far with new signings. |
