Great game yesterday, watching it back twice now already.



Not flawless but very good, Thewlis kicking out on the full and not kicking a penalty dead. In another game would maybe have cost us but can forgive him that. I'd be tempted to give him the catalans game off to give a weeks healing to that head wound, put Wrench on the wing, don't know who would kick though.

Drinkwater has kicked over 170 goals in first-grade. Assuming he has been practising, he would be an able deputy.

Thewlis is getting a lot of head knocks and now two nasty cuts. I agree a rest on the basis of duty of care.

Well done Warrington and absolutely over the moon for my good mates in Stockton Heath and Appleton Thorn who will no doubt enjoy their day at Wembley.

I know we (me) have been a bit sidetracked by the fans behaviour but other than that I thought yesterday's game was a cracker.



One of my highlights yesterday was the look on Dufty's and Vaughan's faces when they ran towards the sticks before kick off...biggest grins ever they looked so excited and I knew then that we'd be winning that game.



Also really enjoyed watching Gleeson working with the backs pre kickoff. We look like a team that means business, a team with a plan just hope we can keep this feelgood factor going.

I’m assuming Gleeson’s thick grey cardigan holds some superstitious value…..otherwise I’m concerned why the maniac was wearing it in the blistering heat.

All I could think was "man he must stink of BO"

Very tough run up to the final now, Catalans then Wigan the week before we play them again in the final.

I see him as a Brut sort of guy…although BO may be preferable.

The impressive thing about yesterday was most of our try’s scored were proper rugby league free flowing efforts.. the spine of this team are playing some fantastic rugby along with the support players all doing their part as well. Massive credit to SB and MG for getting these team to the levels the players are showing and you get the feeling things are going to get better

We have come a long way from the high cross field kick to King plan A, B and C.
