Has anyone any insight as to what's happened here? It seems strange that Leigh are saying that they are struggling to raise a team but will be ok 24 hours later. Have they got a darts match or something?



If they have had problems then top marks to them for at least getting the game on, albeit 24 hours later.

Looking at the Leigh forum they apparently have 8 injured players so I suppose it's conceivable that they are struggling for numbers. But as you say it seems strange that the situation is significantly improved by waiting 24 hrs. On top of that I wonder why the venue switch was made. The Warrington Guardian have simply quoted the club statement which is a little unusual as they normally provide some background to enhance the article.

I haven't seen anything about a venue change, not that it matters much at the moment. I understood that it was still at the HJ but now a 5:30PM kick-off on Friday.

I recall Price saying that Charnley would be ready for the start of the season, so he may well appear.



I've heard various rumours about GI not being ready but I don't class any of the sources as being reliable. All I can go off was what the man himself said in an interview and that was that it may take him a few weeks to get back to where he wanted to be.



He may get a run out or his name could just be on the team sheet in order to boost online viewing figures to support Chris Hill. We'll know in a couple of hours.
