Having checked, using the reading skills I picked up some years ago ( which have been very useful for examining the RL Challenge Cup Final match programmes these last two years ) , the WCC was on another thread but all the material is there, nonetheless.
Ah, yes, the Rugby Leage elite. Funny, I would have thought that only one club in Cheshire could justifiably claim to be in it currently, and that place is not a suburb of Runcorn. |

Yes just as I'm sure many of the top prem teams are in awe of Ipswich town for once winning something when flairs & curly perms were the fashion (actually strike that as that combo is still current in Widnes). When in reality they've been a boil on the end of the competition for years.
Your arguement that Widnes are amongst the current RL elite is complete turd. You can't polish it, the best you can do is roll it in glitter. |

Exactly right, and let's not forget that the vast majority of Wire fans welcomed Widnes back into SL for 2012, hardly an attitude that merits criticism. It's when we start hearing that Widnes are an 'elite' club and Wire 'have done nowt in SL' that the retaliatory comments start to appear. |
