Personally, I'm not bothered whether he misses the semi or not cos he's been appaling all season, and gone missing in several key matches.
However, it seems to me that this kind of nasty, or unpleasant behaviour, is creeping more and more into Leeds game. Peacock is walking round with a huge chip on his shoulder, his mouth in overdrive. Hardaker had the incident first with England than against us. Bailey is Bailey. Ablett is becoming a master at cheap shots (the kick on Monas, for example) and now Sir Kev.
The game was brilliant, Cas deserved at least a point and of the two teams on show, they look like they have the momentum, form and composure.

If he is charged with Grade C or above (which I can't see how he couldn't be) he doesn't have the option of an EGP.

Haven't seen it either but been told that he was effing and jeffing right before it and had gritted teeth, the pic I've seen showed some force behind it too. They'll see it was a grade C offence though.
Tbh I'm not bothered if he doesn't miss the semi, he's playing woeful anyway and his mistakes and lack of creativity in attack could win us the game. |

I'd go Grade C. Totally out of character for Sinfield.
Having watched it I think Peacock should be cited for punching after the incident. He was trying to get Cas players to retaliate. Poor Bailey-type form. |

From the description of the gradings this is definately and E-F grading - Head butting - makes full contact in aggressive violent manner (certainly does and teh gritted teeth both before the incident and after as well as refusing to back away when the ref calls it but having to be pulled away by his own team mates can only be looked at as aggressive and violent).
This would force the disciplinary to use these punishment periods:
E / 4-8 games;
F / 8+ games or period suspension.
For all of his previous good record he'll still get a minimum 4 games which will see him sat in the stands at Langtree. I always feel Sinfield's value to the Whinos isn't all tied up in what he does with the ball, but the organization he does without the ball, and the belief he gives his team mates in terms of getting a result in tight games. He'll be missed by them should he not be playing in the CC semi. |
