have to say that i'm looking forward to having widnes back. we have great rivalry with saints and wigan but our true derby is widnes and the
atmosphere in years gone by has been unbelievable.

if your on about my post i am joking on it as in brackets my other half is a widnes fan so i can banter and i have always said i wanted widnes back up but i do think you have to be prepared you aint gonna come up and be world beaters in the first season gonna take you a season maybe two to get used to the speed but once you settle down maybe get rid of betts i think youll be alright

I am a Widnes fan and am wondering why a championship club is creating 5 or 6 pages of banter on the mighty wires website. Surely you must have something more exiting to talk about.
I might start one regarding that ground down the road that most of you have never frequented you know the one with all the grass growing in the stands.
I remember all this banter the last time we came up and we beat you four times that season. Only half of you will remember that, the other half didn’t appear till your first Wembley. Anyway enjoy your greatest era for 30 odd years it won’t last forever. And when it all goes tits up we will be there to remind you. all the best from your friendly neighbours’ and the most famous team in CHESHIRE .THE FAMOUS WIDNES VIKINGS
