| Absolutely right, it will be the place to be next Friday. Unfortunately I will be listening to it on radio in Northern France.

| Quote 1leebriers="1leebriers"although kr is a complete shambles of a venue, the atmosphere that we create whenever we have turned up (and lost) has been spectacular. that's what i'll miss as the atmosphere that we'll create in the new stadium (will still be fantastic) but it won't have the edge that kr does'"
I think this is what most Saints fans will also miss about KR. It won't be the facilities, that's for sure! But KR does generate a really good atmosphere, probably because everyone is so close to the action and so close to each other. I think the best atmosphere I've experienced in recent years was our match against Leeds when Bailey tried to take Fas's head off. How the crowd didn't jump on Leeds I don't know; the tension in the air was palpable. Anger crackled around the place. It was really quite intimidating! But once that had died down it was a great atmosphere just for being competitive; same for Wire and Wigoon (although IMO Wire tops it due to the hoodoo).

Still nowt wrong with that - solid tackle, which is rare for that thug Bailey Cracking game for the neutrals that one.

| I'm going to miss KR. Holds a lot of memories for me from way back in the early 80's. No doubt the new stadium will be sparkling and new but, sadly, it will be devoid of character - just like ours.

| Yes, I like all the old grounds. KR is a favourite because there's always a good atmosthere. I also used to love going to Central Park. A very happy hunting ground for us in the seventies Murphy era.

I was just contemplating the chances of it being shown in any of the Irish bars in Amsterdam, then remembered that it's not on ruddy sky!

I'm sure we could sell it to a local farmer for his livestock.

| As confident as I am, I cannot and will not get caught up in this. The fact remains that its Saints at Saints, and for us, it doesn't get any tougher! We couldn't be taking any better form into this match, but the players seriously need to keep emotion and nerves to a minimum and concentrate on defence. We'll score points, thats for damn sure. But can we defend? No margin for error in my opinion and its going to have to be watertight in the middle.
Saints are due a big performance too, unfortunately. But as people have rightly pointed out; although this game would do absolute wonders for the squad should we win, alternatively if we lose, we're still in a very healthy position!
