After reading this thread it appears some fans would be overjoyed if the wakefield owner rang up moran tomorrow and offered kirmond in a straight swap for waterhouse and we accepted it. Unbelievable!!

A straight swap for a player of quality and with scope for further improvement still in his twenties for a player who....well,...isn't!

I'd be delighted to see Kirmond at the HJ....He must be the toughest geezer in the game. I may even renew my season ticket.

Waterhouse by a country mile. I enjoyed watching Louis but Waterhouse is a different level of class and experience. I'd be quite happy to see Louis back here as an interchange forward though.

I rate Kirmond highly and the last converted centre we signed from Wakefield didn't work out too badly.

Kirmond looks like a young Ben Westwood in the making.... Waterhouse on the other hand, doesn't.

That'd be down to Waterhouse's age preventing him from being "a young anyone"

I'm amazed that somebody who is nigh on 28 years old is considered young. Rogues will be having a fit.





I do think Kirmond has been hyped by Sky a fair bit - for example Ali Lauititi has actually made more yards than him this season and I've never had Ali down as one for doing long minutes to rack up the stats (or doing any length of the field breaks).

In summary then we are nine pages in and not a shred of truth in Kirmond signing. This should be locked pending Nosey Parker coming up with any information to corroborate Yed's opening post.

I read it on the Wakey board, the reason for question mark on the end of the topic name was because I was putting it out there if anyone had heard or not.



It seemed feasible as Wakey are selling their talent at the moment.
