Yes there are trains that run from carcassonne to limoux think the best one to get is about 1pm

type in carcasssonne to limoux on the 17th its all in french but you can navigate around it if your familiar with online bookings etc



last train leaves before the game at 13:02 and take 30mins costs 5 euros



Return last train leaves at 18:30 so about an hour after full time and again is 5 euros



Limoux train station is 225 meters from the ground

Make sure you have a ticket before travallng also, as they put inspectors at the other end when there are events on and the fine I think is 20 times the fare you should have paid.

Hello from a Brit in Limoux, Reading these posts it's clear that there's a lot of uncertainty about travel and access to Limoux. When we played Halifax and Wigan here I felt it was a pity that most fans didn't stay around town to celebrate (or not). The problem is lack of accomodation and difficult public transport. I was wondering whether there would be enough people interested in staying on in Limoux after the game in one of the local bars? If so, perhaps we could arrange a bus to take folk back to Carcassonne later in the evening?

That sounds like a good idea no idea of numbers though of how many are coming?

how many would you need to make this worthwhile??
