Are you seriously comparing the Blackpool scenario to Wakefields? No.. please.. do humour me. Please educate a boy on how a team with no fans, no money and no potential that couldn't even afford the £5.75 to write a business plan on the back of a fag packet in a week is comparable and why, in fact, they deserved helping. |

Not true, 31 of them did. Seriously though it was a crazy last throw of the dice by Ted Richardson which would have been doomed to failure at most RL clubs |

at last a modicom of sense on this topic - if the fans/local populus can't be bothered to follow their team then maybe it's time to call it a day ?
The RFL is flogging a dead horse if it's intending pumping money into clubs with little or no fan base.Where have all the fans gone ? what's changed over the past 20 years or so ?
If some local patron wants to come along and keep it going just for the sake of it then so be it but if the fan-base isn't there,what's the point ? |
