Has anyone heard anything regarding the TC and this Sunday before the Hunslet match ,been told there is food on .

Am told it is in the banqueting suite starting at 1pm.

Ok what is TC?

Thought there was always food on for the TC

Who pays for it?

Presuming there is a negotiated deal with EMC for food every match and the money is taken from what the TC gold members pay...

I See it would be a good idea if LISA could have a similar set up for our members who go that bit further,or who would be willing to pay for this, I look into this. Thanks Danny

The Touchdown Club has 70 ish members and space in the Banqueting suite is not always available. LISA has a membership of about 400 could you imagine if they all turned up.





This is the first time this season for all the Touchdown Club members it is not something that happens on every matchday.

As far as I'm aware, EMC no longer do the catering as their contract expired last month. The LSV are now do their own catering.

Obviously I am not sure of the cost for everyone in there but I paid £900+vat for the year and this includes 2 seats behind the dugouts at home games and a one course meal (hotpot/bacon butts/etc) pre match with a talk from Rowls etc... Also entitles me to discount on boxes and advert in the program on the TC page...



Even if LISA were to do something like this over 10 games the normal cost of hospitality is £360 there or there abouts which is substantially less than the £720 that the Touchdown Club members (gold) are paying (per 1 person for one course), the touchdown club is an easy way of local businesses putting money into the club. Giving another organisation a deal for less than the TC would be a bad move by SCL in my opinion because while both organisations have their advantages they both have substantially different costs associated with them.
