Well Charlie was there after the match today , Derek Beaumont who awarded Rob Parker the MOM award , then told a packed room , he was getting back in the saddle and then told the Players they WOULD be geeting paid , and he was getting back with us , whether you like the Man or not i say i BIG thank you Derek





,personally im a Derek Beaumont fan , i take people as i find them , Derek spoke from the heart Tonight , and even handled a Heckler perfect shutting the bloke up in seconds .



This could be what the club needs , hopefully bringing everyone together , lets not forget we still have a way to go , but the players seemed very happy , Rob Parker and Trevor spoke very positivly , and after a good team performance , i cant wait for next week .



All the missing players were in the Bar afterwards , and as for the result ?Charlie knew , not even a Bonus Point for the Bullfrogs , and OH DEAR as a BONUS THE INVINCIBLE FAX lost , i bet Littlerich , Swifty , and Faxcar are having nightmares

I'm really, really, really fillin up now.

I love my club and remember Derek coming into the changing room at halftime when we were 12-6 down in the semifinal of the Colts cup against Hull at Cas. He put his hand in his pocket and said if we pulled it off it was ours. We lost but he still put his hand in his pocket. Got a roasting of Trev and a crack off Lee Crooks but never forgot that in the changing room. If I could swear on here it would portray the way feel right now on top of today's performance.

Whatever folk think about Derek , he cares about Leigh Centurions , theres no doubt about this , he talks straight , wont p3ss about , wears his heart on his sleeve , i dont whos in charge if they help the club , i say WELCOME BACK DEREK

Derek Beaumont is ONE top bloke, met him a few times when a friend of mine Mike Callaghan was the commercial manager. His brother is OK as well, for a 'daft lad' !!!

All the Beaumonts were there tonight , with Allan Rowley and Sean Richardson , Derek was given a Standing ovation , by ALL the room .And it was packed .
