IM SURE IT IS 4 BOTH TEAMS, MINERS LOOKIN TO REMAIN UNBEATEN AT THE TOP AND EAST ARE PUSHING FOR A PLAYOFF SPOT

Unfortunatly theres only one team with loads of pressure and it sure is'nt east

How any player in this fixture can consider it not to be a big game is beyond me.

When I was playing any match against our rivals from down the road was huge - irrespective of league positions and prospects.

Local bragging rights are at stake here!

Last time East had loads of injuries and lost heavily, this time hopefully it ll be closer.

East have had lots of games though over a short period of time, lads hows played THurs night, then Sat for GB lions and then again on SUN in a hard fought cup game and now just4 days later being expected to play in a derby match.

Anyway roll on Thurs look forward to the game, cant see anything other then a win for the MINERs but who knows.

East with a full team wouldnt get near the miners Miners werent at their best against East last time

Anything can happen on the night though cant it ?

Many moons ago I played for Rose Bridge U 18s and our rivals across the canal were St Pats who had a stellar team including Joe Lydon, Mick Gregory, Shaun Wane and many other future pros.

We played them 5 times in the season and got a little closer each time, until in the final match we were winning at half time................. trouble is they stuffed us in the second half









Oh well, that's life eh?
