To nip this in the bud and stop the rumour mongers, Halifax RLFC are not being issued with a winding-up order. This listing is due to a long standing dispute over payments made to HMRC that were not recorded in the correct manner at the time due to issues arising from a switch from paper to electronic procedures, a dispute that has since been settled amicably. The club has met its liabilities in full, and does not owe money to HMRC. This listing is simply due to a timing issue, and correspondence received by the club last month indicated it would be removed by November 11th. That it hasn't been removed has caused unnecessary embarrassment to the club, but we understand it will be delisted later today.
