Have had poorly kids all christmas and have been unable to get out so quite fancy giving it a go...

Which Steakhouse are we talking about??

rowlands steak house on Leigh Rd, i've heard a few glowing reports about it and no bad ones.

Not had the chance to try it myself yet.

Thought it was to good to be true Atherton Steakhouse reopening.Best Steakhouse by miles ever. Will have to give this one a try though I love mi T bones. I take it this is owned by a certain Dave Rowlands given its appeared on this website.

I went on the opening night and it was fantastic. My steak was cooked to perfection and I haven't heard say anything bad about it. Apparently it's doing a roaring trade. I'll definitely go there again.

Leigh Rd, Leigh. I think the poster above was talking about a past steakhouse in Atherton that has shut down.

Dave Rowlands place is next to the Thomas Burke on Leigh Rd Leigh (used to be a furniture shop a few years ago).

The place that was a tapas/mediteranian bar?

Thats the one.... The dining area of the tapas looks like its become the steakhouse and the bar area of the tapas is now frequented by pond dwellers and the like.

So that's where all the ' newts ' went
