You are wrong there with respect lad.
I used to watch Swinton when Leigh weren't playing and I might even be at Batley on Saturday but I honestly think my second club have made a big mistake going down this route to oblivion.
The thing is it could conceivably lead to the death of the Championship and Swinton in my view are selfishly ignoring the damage they are doing to the game in general. |

Do you honestly think that Swinton fans have any say in the way their club is run? We almost ended up playing out of Darwen a few seasons ago. Supporters of Swinton are treated like the enemy by the board. They tell us nothing and feed us nonsense.
I thought that RL was a sport where we (the fans) all stuck together, a more noble sport than the likes of soccer. However, with some of the cheap jibes I have seen on here I guess I was wrong.

My opinion on this for what its worth, is that Wire were against the scrapping of the SL 20s and 18s and it had been rumoured that they were one of the clubs who were trying to highlight the stupidity of the decision. Swinton it would appear have just become puppets in Warringtons mission to remove this stupid 'twinning' idea |

I`ll agree with that......... as a Wire fan from work said to me ` it`s Wire making a statement towards the way Hetherington is attempting to run the game`.........Swinton look like collateral damage. |

I believe so Derek, along with St Helens and yet they appear to be the two clubs who have gone deeper into the link up than anyone else with swinton and rochdale.Which team will be coached next by someone from the sl club i wonder? |

I think that is the case. There is no other way really for the club to bring about changes other than to discredit the system. Also explains why Smith said to Rowley that Leigh are "too ambitious". |
