What I was saying is in our town we have great youth development , hope we do get some of it at Leigh. Ryan O Toole from the Leigh east under 18s is already on the reserves team.

Sarsy Jnr played from the bench last week, but went off injured.

if its the same alan i am thinking of (his mum is ann) then i will say that he has always lived and breathed rugby and i wish him all the best in the role.

Don't think Pownall or Clay were even playing league until a few seasons ago so perhaps not the best example of the towns youth development.





All three of them are great lads though both on and off the field, Leigh are heading in the right direction taking these lads on board.

I saw the Miners v East 18s match at Twist Lane a couple of months ago and all these lads had big games as did the Miners 13 (Danny Jones?) until he went off and the for East the props were very good and one of the second rowers who put in some big hits.
