I was downstairs getting a pint at that point so had a good view of the replay, and I don't think there was much case for an obstruction, to be honest. If anything, Maden was a tad lucky to getting away with raising his arm in to the player obstructing him.

I thought it was obstruction. Just look at it this way, if that kick was put in 5 meters away from the leigh try line and the player looked then stepped would the try stand?

Ive seen alot of trys refused for less.

Last Saturday was proof enough for me that Saturday night rugby will never take off in Leigh. Poor crowd despite the offers on from the club to get more people in, I've never seen the North Stand so sparsley populated.

That is rubbish!!!! What crowd do you think we would have had on a Sunday after the previous weeks performance? I would have expected no more than 1200.

The type of offer was a poor one I think - how many 'NEW' fans came with a ST holder for a fiver and how many where used by the ST holders mate who would have been coming anyway?

Anyway, how can you judge if Saturday evening was a success or not after a one off game?

Just to remind you we only got 1600 against Dewsbury on a Sunday afternoon after a great performance at Widnes - then get 1900 after a terrible performance.





Maybe it was because we played Saturday evening.
