Agreed. They've been great, but now comes the tough test, we've lost before to the so called 'easier' teams, it's up to Basil and the lads to ensure we don't let our performances drop.

Thank goodness we have got the 'hard' games out of the way. Now, who's next - Batley (currently second) and Sheffield. (currently third) Oh! Typical of Barrow, Halifax and Widnes, to let these teams sneak above them, just to make life hard for us!

Alan, I suppose we could have let them all beat us to shift Batley and Sheffield down the table, but then we would be bottom by now!

wey hey i have found a thread that has not been locked (excuse the sarcasm) yes i did not expect us to win today, which we didn't, but it was almost as good as a win, quite superb, loads of guts and determination, as you would expect from our boys. However to back up from a tough game on friday and grab a draw in such dramatic circumstances speaks volumes for us.

Was told by Frank that one of the stewards backed us at 66/1 to win our first 6 league games, He must be the only unhappy Leyther after our start. £670 down the drain because the hooter went 3 seconds too early for Ellis's drop kick to count.
