Not quite true, the boundary is Leigh Rd. But it is fair to say that the town hall falls on the 'wrong' side of that boundary. Leigh is effectively cut in half.

Looks like they have got that the wrong way round, Andy Burnham on Twitter about an hour ago has said 'The Boundary Commission has ripped Leigh to bits. They want to put Leigh Town hall in westhoughton! Sad day.'

If the MEN article is something to go off it's Salford who look like they are getting the proverbial end of the stick.

The Leigh "ripped to pieces" seems way off the mark, perhaps Burnham is worried about his job.
