It is incredible,i was told tuesday evening to go ahead and book my flight,all the players had been told it was friday night and those who needed to,had to make arraignments with their employers.

With seats going and fairs rising i went ahead and booked!..i don't know whats happened,but theres obviously been some sort of tiff.

Should have had it sorted by Wednesday the latest and by all accounts it would of been if it wasn't for Leigh, rejecting Wigan's suggestions.

As a coach at a local amateur club I was advised that communication had come from John Duffy that anyone buying tickets with an involvement in an amatuer club that the cost will be £10 per adult and £5 per child.

Whilst I can understand the vast majority associated with Leigh at board level would be rightly paying respects today at Arthurs funeral I think its fair to say I'm gobsmacked it wasn't sorted (or failed to agree on) within 1 hour of it being announced, in days of instant communication its frankly inept.

This is just one of the many reasons RL is a minority sport and whilst its easy to blame the RFL for all the games ills (and they need blaming for many) you could say if two clubs who are partners are incapable of agreeing such a simple thing such as a Kick off date and admission costs then there is little hope.

If the two clubs couldnt agree , then the RFL have to sort it and they will, we cant annouce anything if weve nothing to annouce.
