I would imagine it's come out of the money Leigh have received from Wigan. Either way, it certainly should help to build bridges and encourage East and Miners to develop their players and send the best of them on to Leigh in the pro ranks.

Ive said before how good the TDC meal deals are good value , they should do them every home game , and try to get a guest speaker ,to Andy , Alan P , and Mo , well done ,as to the rest of the BOM .

What a nice gesture from the New Board i just hope they remember their is more than One Club in Leigh that deserves a donation just wonder if T.B and the Board had donated to the Miners if you Keith would have been singing their praises then (don't think so do you )

I can't comment about previous management as I wasn't part of them, but what is important is that we work together for the betterment of RL in and around Leigh. SAMs transfer will put some cash into the club soon but as a team we used our personal cash to thank east for their part in SAMs development, we would have done the same had it been any of our local amateur clubs

Exactly - If young Nicholson or Pownall had of signed for Wigan in similar circumstances to Hopkins then it may well have been Leigh Miners receiving the cheque last night.

You know me Charlie, I often speak my mind and obviously not everyone will always agree but I do respect everyone's opinion on here.



If I do occasionally over step the mark I will always apologise upon reflection and I have had to do just that to both yourself and Demon recently.



Anyway I'm looking forward to the Doncaster match now. My passion for our rugby club is as strong as it always has been.
