Cant blame the Widnes club for what happened after the game today......it will be non fans jumping on the band wagon by going to the game.

I know a couple of Widnes fans and they wouldnt do anything like what happened today as they are genuine fans.

Every club gets them jumping on the band wagon at big games......then you never see them till the next one.

We got 3500 on Friday as we got the league leaders shield if we won......how many of them will turn up next sunday at the LSV (all I hope), dont forget that we have had problems with kn**heads in the past.

The multitude of folk dicking about on the pitch in Widnes tops may suggest they're far from one game wonders. As much as I agree we've had our own problems in the past, there certainly hasn't been anything on the scale or stage as what happened today.

There are pictures of the offenders, easily identified, Widnes do something about it, it was a disgrace, ban them all this should not be happening .

This isnt about banning its about locking them up, that was a riot - charge them with rioting

Plastic fans don't wear club shirts. We've had the same problems, before we start pointing fingers.

Most of them looked intoxicated to me. Widnes fans are a decent lot of fans and I am sure most of them were disgusted by those idiotic antics by about 100 fools.

I think there's enough CCTV and photos doing to social media rounds that most of the morons can be identified. Well done Widnes, but it would be a shame if their idiot followers cost the club a decent signing.



A small voice in the back of my mind is wondering if it was premeditated, let's be fair here - there is a proportion of Widnes fans who don't like us, and an excuse to trash our stadium may not be missed.

I hope Widnes do make examples of the idiots but how will it be policed? We don't have a Police intelligence unit at our games like football. The way the RFL and the councils will deal with it will be to put away fans in seperate parts of the ground which means more expense for the clubs so the ticket price will go up. This is the side of any sport I despise.
