Lighting problems?

All future club fans forums will be open to LISA members exclusively.



So does that mean my season ticket money, half time draw money, lifeline money, programme money and merchandise money isn't enough to get me into a fans forum?

They should really re-name the 'Fans' Forum' as a LISA Meeting. Evidently, if you aren't in LISA, you're not a fan, on that basis!

Have to say though' I too think fans forums should be open to everyone.



I think the £1 discount for LISA members on away travel is daft too as my view is nobody joins LISA because of that.

I think fans forums and LISA meetings are two different things. As presented last night LISA members will get exclusive insight from Paul and his team as one example.



Where as I think the club will probably still do 1 or 2 general forum nights in a year.

I don't think they have written what they meant to say there. Don't take the piece as gospel. A fans forum should be open to every fan of the club.

No THEY haven't Tony I wrote that on my recollection of what was said that could be flawed ( that is why I have written it in my own account and NOT The Mediateam) as I was quite busy on the night and have not had time to review all the recording due to me having a life away from Leigh Centurions, the 'lighting problems' were down to a lack of it as the lights were off at that end of the banqueting suite due to the projector being used.

As there has only been two general fans forums in 18 months or so I can't see what the problem is, as any club news is also put on the website and social media in time anyway, so why the panic?

it's like someone saying they cant get LC TV because the pay XYZ it's the benefit of being in LISA in hearing any club news first, just like having a meal on match days as a member of the touchdown club is a benefit that some people pay extra for.

And what if a fan can't afford LCTV or is of an age or not interested to have a computer. It is a very dangerous line to follow where some fans feel that they are less important than others and at a time where we are trying to get as many as possible. Just saying.

That was just an example Tony if one pays a premium price for a theater ticket do you expect them to occupy the same seats as a bargain ticket, plane ticket etc etc etc. nothing to do with being less or more important just having the extra spare cash, Im not a LISA member and dont expect to get the same benefits that their members get, why should I they are paying for them Im not, If I attend them I usually take along a raffle prize or go in place of our Dave who cant get to all the meetings and I report back to him if there is anything of interest for his Journal article or even pay the £5 they used to charge, but I dont expect to have a vote on anything.



Anyway it would appear people like rumours or 'opinions' better than facts so it's bye bye from me for a while.

I think its fair to say Derek B has turned the Two clubs down,and not Ryan himself.
